Christiana Care Health System is currently recruiting for a full-time Registered Nurse to work in our Operating Room facilities.

Over 44,000 surgical procedures a year are handled within these sites.

We are looking for energetic Operating Room Registered Nurses who want to be a part of a growing operating room team focused on providing excellent clinical outcomes through caring service to our patients and their families.

Christiana Hospital
Located in Newark, Delaware, this state of the art environment has gone through a significant remodeling to ensure our physical layout is in keeping with the highest current standards of care and practice. It has 25 operating rooms in this Level I Trauma Regional Medical Center. A wide-range of services including over 1,100 open-heart cases are handled per year. This high volume, fast paced, dynamic, teaching environment will challenge the experienced OR Nurse.

Wilmington Hospital
This community-sized hospital is located in downtown Wilmington and offers a dynamic teaching and high volume environment for practicing OR nursing. It has 10 operating rooms and a Level II Emergency Department that handles a wide-range of cases with an emphasis on orthopaedic procedures.

Surgicenters
We also have a state of the art Surgicenter at each of our hospitals. Periodically there are openings for OR Nurses, OR Technicians, and Recovery/PACU Nurses.

Must be a graduate of an accredited Operating Room Training Program or have prior Operating Room experience circulating and scrubbing in a main OR environment.
