Primary Function:

The Enterprise EMR Team is currently recruiting for an Associate Systems Analyst for the Core & Incident Services group to deliver optimal health and an exceptional experience to each and every person we serve, every time. The ideal candidate will have a passion for problem solving in a fast paced environment and support other caregivers on the larger team.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interact daily with front-line caregivers to clearly define a problem, convey workarounds, and resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Identify trends among recorded issues and convey to leadership.

  • Maintain areas of core Cerner Millennium build for larger enterprise EMR team (security, locations, event set hierarchy).

  • Commitment to industry standard change control and communications process in a dynamic team environment.

  • Ability to provide documentation on build items for the larger team and steps to recreate or produce a test case.

  • Perform testing and troubleshooting for on-going investigations and for system changes and upgrades.

  • Serve as communication channel between front-line caregivers, vendor and leadership as it relates to incident management.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Information Systems, Computer Science or other healthcare related fields.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel, Word and Outlook.

  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work constructively with customers under adverse situations.

  • Critical thinking ability as it pertains to problem solving and analysis, working through issues with members of other diverse teams.

  • Ability to prioritize work with minimal guidance and manage own time/calendar.

  • Committed, enthusiastic team player, with a focus on high quality, safe care and customer satisfaction.

  • Experience supporting other EMR applications is a plus.
