PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Associate Systems Analyst assists in ensuring suite of applications supported by the Shared Services Technology team are fully leveraged for effective & efficient processes.  This role focuses on applications in the HR systems process space and gathers requirements to guide the design, testing, and delivery of HR solutions.

The ideal candidate will have the desire to learn the applications supported by the HR System Group, such as Workday and UKG Dimensions.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in the project planning process

  • Participate in the identification of technical system and equipment requirements

  • Assist in the development of accurate time estimates to support project requirements

  • Consult with business stakeholders to understand business processes and system requirements.

  • Participate in cross-functional teams of business functional and technical resources.

  • Assist in building presentations of proposed design solutions to users and management in a timely, comprehensive, and understandable manner.

  • Participate in troubleshooting initiatives for issues that arise.

  • Provide system documentation, test evidence, and measurements.

  • Work with HR business clients to understand specific business processes, identifies and communicates resulting needs and opportunities for business process improvement that can be enabled via technology

  • Provide assistance with the planning, delivery, management, maintenance, and effective HR business use of information systems

  • Detail oriented, flexible when faced with change, able to manage multiple tasks and projects

  • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment

  • Effectively manage communications and expectations with internal and external stakeholders

  • Participate in project meetings to collect complete and accurate business requirements from business SMEs by means of interviews, workflow analyses and facilitated discussions

  • Provide support to assigned systems or general services.

  • Maintains self-motivation to learn and apply current technical knowledge and to understand CCHS functions.

  • Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices.  Reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Applied Mathematics or equivalent field.  A combination of education and experience may be substituted.

  • 1-3 years experience

  • Experience in any of the following applications desired: Workday; UKG Dimensions; Cority

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Aptitude with Systems Administration and Project Coordination

  • Skill in use of keyboard, computer, peripherals (printers, scanners, mobile devices) and other equipment

  • Ability to perform basic troubleshooting of issues with computer software and hardware

  • Ability to analyze routine problems and present available options for resolving in manner that technical and non-technical staff can understand

  • Knowledge of system design techniques

  • Effective organization skills and attention to detail

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Effective presentation skills required

  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks
