Christiana Care Su Centro de Salud with Primary Care at Kirkwood is looking for a Bilingual Office Assistant for a busy primary care practice.
Christiana Care Su Centro de Salud with Primary Care at Kirkwood is a Spanish based community practice, it is a place where you build a relationship with your health care team and seek advice for all your health concerns. We are a team of two Physicians, one Advanced Practice Clinician, one Registered Nurse, six Medical Assistants and one Office Assistant. This position offers a great work life balance.
Work Schedule:
- This is a full-time Monday to Friday position (8am to 5pm) -- subject to change
- No weekends, no holidays -- subject to change
Job duties & responsibilities:
- Schedules appointments.
- Answers multi line telephones and retrieves accurate messages.
- Manages front desktop.
- Collects payments according to insurance requirements.
- Applies ICD9 & CPT4 codes to encounter forms for billing purposes.
- Performs outreach calls for the team.
- Interacts between physicians, staff, and patients to provide accurate communication and customer service.
- Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and foster professional relationships in a team environment.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Education Requirements:
- High School Graduate or GED required.
- Medical receptionist or medical assistant degree preferred but not required.
- Experience in a medical office setting or customer service environment is preferred but not required.
