We are currently seeking a full time Business Liaison who will use their in-depth knowledge of local and adjacent markets and ChristianaCare products and services, the Business Liaison will implement identified sales tactics to ensure business growth and revenue targets are met that successfully support all business development strategies.  This includes responsibility for establishing, growing, and maintaining successful relationships with referral sources and other business partners across an assigned area.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilizes a data-driven approach to respond to and execute on identified growth opportunities; actively engages in the sales life cycle for new and expanded product/service offerings including market research/analysis, prospecting and qualifying leads, and contributing to the creation of proposals and sales presentations
  • Through continuous outreach and collaboration with the market's clinical and business partners, independently plans and conducts introductory and maintenance sales calls to identified referral sources and business partners, and ensures appropriate follow-up
  • Contributes to the designing and implementation of effective short and long-term business development strategies, including building profiles for business partners/end user(s), crafting and delivering sound value propositions, developing a robust sales funnel, and determining effective distribution channels for ChristianaCare services
  • Works closely with key ChristianaCare stakeholders to create and maintain standardized processes and barrier-free pathways between all aligned entities, including interactions across ChristianaCare business lines, to achieve optimal partner satisfaction
  • Anticipates risks and identifies solutions to mitigate concerns from business partners regarding ChristianaCare products and services; promptly communicates and/or escalate issues with the appropriate manager
  • Supports the Business Development team and other departments in the concept and business planning process, including gathering key intel from service line champions/key stakeholders to secure foundational knowledge of product/service(s)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sociology, Psychology, or related field required.
  • Proven success, and a minimum of 4 years of B2B sales experience, including direct account management
  • Minimum of 3 years in a healthcare, pharma, or medical device environment working directly with physicians in an ambulatory and acute setting
