ChristianaCare is seeking a full-time BE/BC Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our dynamic and expanding Pediatric Behavioral Health team. This psychiatrist will  provide consultation-liaison services to our pediatric patients on medical floors and support behavioral health needs at our newly opened Pediatric Center.

The ChristianaCare Pediatric Care Center (PCC) is a 14-bed, family-focused hybrid unit (urgent/emergent and inpatient care) serving children ages 0-18 in the Women's & Children's Center for Health on the Newark campus. This Center will transform pediatric care at ChristianaCare, providing both improved access to acute pediatric-centered care and expanding the breadth of pediatric services for the surrounding communities. The populations we plan to serve include the following:

  • 6,400 newborns born annually at Women's & Children's

  • 21,000 ambulatory care pediatric patients in the ChristianaCare network

  • 13,000+ employee families

  • 10,000-15,000 children evaluated annually in our adult Emergency Departments

  • BE/BC in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

  • Eligible for license in Delaware
