How You'll Make an Impact

This position will provide office based clinical assessment and mental health therapy services for a diverse caseload of patients with a heavy focus on children and adolescents. Autism Experience is NOT a requirement for this position.

Schedule

Monday- Friday: 8am- 4:30pm. This position is a hybrid blend of remote/virtual and in person work.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   

  • Conducts individual psychotherapy with assigned patients and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.

  • Conducts psychosocial evaluations to provide diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations.

  • Develops coordinated treatment plan in collaboration with other members of the treatment team.

  • Reports and updates pertinent patient information to physician and treatment team in a timely manner.

  • Identifies milieu deficits and assists in implementing appropriate measures to meet needs.

  • Tracks referrals of patients requesting services.

  • Ongoing coordination of care with medical providers and psychiatric providers inside and outside the ChristianaCare.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor Mental Health (LPCMH) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) required.

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in mental health setting preferred.
