The Christiana Emergency Department Clerk/Registrar serves in a vital role, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the department. Duties for this position include but are not limited to: promoting patient, physician, and staff satisfaction through proactive administrative services, performing functions of receptionist, registrar, data entry clerk, order entry clerk, and be the liaison to ancillary departments. Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience in a medical office or hospital environment in similar role is strongly preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with experience in Outlook (scheduling and e-mail).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exemplary prioritization and organization skills.


This is a Part Time  position scheduled for 40 hours per pay, Evening schedule of 11 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.  This position requires a commitment to every other weekend and three holidays per year.
