ChristianaCare is looking for a full-time Clerk V to assist the Materials Manager and Supply Chain Analyst in adjusting, analyzing, and physically altering supply storage locations within all ChristianaCare campuses.

Responsibilities:

Identify opportunities for supply efficiencies in existing clean supply rooms

Build, manage, and adjust clean supply rooms as required by analysis, or by Supply Chain Analyst and clinical Caregivers

Stock clean supply rooms as required

Process returns and credits to departmental cost centers as required

Process stock issues as required

Conducts clean supply room audits for expired products

Develop and maintain priority lists for the revision of nursing PAR areas and supply location projects.

Works with Nurse Managers and Par staff in meeting their requirements for adequate par level and space utilization.

Analyze data from inventory management software to recommend PAR quantity changes.

Responds to all inquiries related to Nursing unit moves and coordination; provides information, resolves problems, or refers to others as appropriate; participates in all ongoing project meetings.

Operates a computer to enter, retrieve, review, or modify data; verifies accuracy of entered data and makes corrections; uses word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other programs

Maintains a positive demeanor with team/unit

Hours: Day shift 6am- 3:30pm

Education and Experience Requirements:

High School diploma required

One to three years' experience with computerized Inventory management systems is helpful.

Three to five years' experience in a hospital or industrial Material Management function desired.

Working Conditions:

Considerable sitting, some standing, walking and limited lifting of light objects

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and pull approximately 1000 lbs.
