ChristianaCare is currently seeking a full-time Clinical Manager for our Kidney Transplant Program located at the Medical Arts Pavilion 2 in Newark, DE.
The Clinical Manager provides leadership and supervisory oversight to clinical staff of the Kidney Transplant Program, in conjunction with the transplant physicians and the administrative director. This role is responsible for team engagement, patient relations, policy management, regulatory oversight, patient flow, oversight of the patient records system, facilitating change and staff education.
The Clinical Manager also serves as the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) Manager. This involves oversight for the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. This includes review of evidence based literature/benchmarks and suggesting revisions/additions to the indicators for monitoring and evaluation of quality care. This is broadly perceived as regulatory compliance; however is the critical core of our clinical operations.
