ChristianaCare is searching for an experienced Compensation Analyst to join the Compensation Team. This position will provide compensation consulting services to all organizational levels with primary services to the management team. This position will assist the management team in the development and implementation of market competitive pay practices that will attract and retain a high performing work force taking into account the need to be financially feasible and meet regulatory requirements. 

This position requires knowledge of personnel administration principles and technology as well as job analysis methods and procedures. A strong level of urgency is needed in this role as it is expected to respond in a timely manner with accurate, high-quality information and recommendations to address manager and employee requests regarding compensation issues.  Some responsibilities include:

  • Participates in third party survey as requested to ensure CCHS pay rates are market competitive within the defined labor market.
  • Assists in the revision or development of new job specifications. Observes, interviews and collects job, operational and occupational data. Evaluates and analyzes job specification data collected, determines classification, exemption status and pay level.
  • Reviews and analyzes employee work history to develop hire, promotion, demotion and equity pay rates as required.
  • Ensures CCHS pay plans are compliant with federal and state laws.
  • Performs special projects assigned by Compensation Manager.

Desired candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Personnel Administration, Business Education or related field required as well as two years of progressively increasing compensation related experience.
