Corporate Director Engagement & Optimization

Christiana Care is looking for a dynamic leader to facilitate multidisciplinary improvement teams, gathers data, performs research, completes analytic reporting and information dissemination. Initiates best practice protocols/evidence-based medicine techniques while providing project and program management for clinical and operational leader achievement of transformational strategic and tactical project results. Responsible for providing subject matter expertise based upon previous work experience with workflow redesign, organizational structure, supporting informational systems and leading practices to identify opportunities for improved performance, increased effectiveness and cost and utilization reduction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or healthcare related field required.  Master's degree strongly preferred. 

  • Minimum of 5 years Medical Group operations experience managing people leaders required. 

  • Expertise in using electronic medical records, Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establishes and manages relationships to achieve transformational change with front line staff, providers and leaders.

  • Leverages extensive operational and clinical experience to resolve difficult opportunities.

  • Hardwires process improvements and embeds process and outcome metrics in improvement initiatives that; draw data electronically from clinical and administrative records; are presented in easy-to-understand graphic format and have sufficient detail to identify specific sources of actionable opportunity.

  • Works with project accountable leaders to manage the work to meet project milestones through application of project management discipline, consistent follow through, relationship management and creative organizational problem solving.

  • Works with service lines and departments to formulate improvement strategies, approaches, and designs complex improvements in operations & patient care workflows.

  • Assesses the local stakeholder environments and works with project sponsors and leaders to build the support and resolve to address improvement opportunities among line staff, providers and leaders.

  • Facilitates and trains trainers for multidisciplinary and multi-site teams and supports accountable leaders in managing project teams.

  • Uses analytic, experiential and subjective assessment skills to identify large performance improvement opportunities.

  • Identifies and applies relevant best practice improvement tools and solutions from prior training and experience, internal best practices, literature and external relationships, and applies them to current projects; innovates on a wide variety of best practice approaches; becomes industry thought leader in focused areas.

  • Team up with internal and external resources to utilize expertise from multiple sources.

  • Documents work products and methodologies to enable knowledge transfer.

  • Designs and develops general use education plans and content.

  • Manages and conducts training for providers, leaders and executives.

  • Responsible for supervision of Population Health & Medical Group Clinical Consultants
