ChristianaCare is looking to employ a Director of Specialty Care Practice Operations for Cecil County, MD.
This operational leader is responsible for the daily operations within our Cecil Multispecialty Practice.
The Director will oversee 3 practice managers across
11 sub-specialties including: Neurology, Palliative Care, Rheumatology, Endocrinology, ENT, GI, Pulmonary, Surgery, Urology, OBGYN.
Developing and attaining established performance and outcome goals in collaboration with Medical Group leaders, Cecil Campus Leaders, Service Line Leaders, Primary Care leaders, and Population Health leaders.
Serving as a liaison for service line and campus leadership while leading efforts across the organization focusing on and advancing Continuous Improvement (LEAN), continuous learning, and supporting organizational vision and goals.
Leading and hardwiring standard operational workflows.
Promoting excellence in revenue cycle management.
Focusing on finances and the unique payment model in Maryland- HSCRC
Emphasizing quality outcomes that drive payments and penalties (ED utilization, hospitalization/readmissions; further development of high revenue generating fee for service volume; access market containment in Maryland).
Measuring practice performance and outcomes.
Position Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as nursing, medical technology, business, clinical healthcare, or healthcare management.
Master's degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of healthcare experience on a management level required, with a focus on quality, safety, regulatory, and accreditation preferred. Minimum 6 years of direct practice medical practice leadership experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
