ChristianaCare is seeking a Director of Marketing to be responsible for driving the marketing vision and providing comprehensive omni-channel marketing plans for ChristianaCare. This position will develop and deliver a high impact brand marketing strategy which supports the strategic properties of the organization. The Director of Marketing will interface directly with all company stakeholders, report to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications and will be a member of the External Affairs Leadership Team.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and direct the planning and execution of ChristianaCare's branding and marketing strategy.
  • Develop programs to grow ChristianaCare's reputation and generate demand; establishes metrics to monitor performance.
  • Responsible for identifying market driven opportunities in new markets and geographies.
  • Monitors compliance with marketing objectives and budgets for all marketing activities.
  • Coordinates teamwork processes/flow and project management to ensure priorities are met and client expectations are exceeded.
  • Lead and direct a team of marketing professionals who:
    • Develop strategic marketing plans tailored to specific programs, offerings, service lines, etc. Ensure that corporate, product and solution marketing messages are powerful and consistent
    • Develop direct marketing campaigns and lead management tools.
    • Manage the creation of external advertising and promotion and all collateral materials.
    • Manage the customer relationship management functionality (Salesforce).
    • Develop the strategy for and execution of all special events and corporate sponsorships that ChristianaCare participates in.
    • Analyze markets and competition in order to position ChristianaCare in the desired market in line with the company vision and strategy. 
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the company's key stakeholders.
    • Fosters and maintains close relationships with all marketing/advertising/community partner vendors.
    • Provide cohesive customer communications and corporate presentations regarding the company, industry events, and competitors, trade shows, advertisements, company web sites, collateral, market research and analysis. 

  • Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.
  • Performs other related duties as require

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Marketing or Business.
  • Fifteen years in Marketing & Advertising.
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Healthcare experience, a plus.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
