Christiana Care health System is currently seeking a full-time Senior Dosimetrist (Dosi II) to work primarily in the Radiation Oncology Department at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center.  The position will provide coverage to the main hospital and satellites and have the ability to work from home multiple days per week.  The selected candidate for the position will interact with the radiation oncology team (9 dosimetrists, 7 medical physicists and 8 Radiation Oncologists) daily to provide state-of-the-art treatment planning for external beam.  

Our clinic provides conventional 3D, IMRT, VMAT, and a robust SBRT/SRS services, as well as HDR and LDR brachytherapy. RayStation, Precision, Variseed, and Oncentra are used for treatment planning for all sites and newly installed Monaco.  At the main cancer center campus there are 3 Elekta linacs, and one CyberKnife with Mosaiq R&V.  One satellite has a Varian TrueBeam linac with ARIA R&V. Siemens CT simulators with 4D CT capability, and advanced dual-energy (Siemens Edge) are available in the department.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Monaco treatment planning system and has CMD certification.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years working experience as a staff radiation therapist.

  • Radiology Technologist Certification, Radiation Therapist Certification or Associate Degree in physical, mathematical, biomedical, or computer science from an accredited college.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
