Emergency Services Administrative Coordinator (hybrid)

ChristianaCare is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Emergency Services service line as our Emergency Services Administrative Coordinator. The home base for this position will be located on the Newark, DE campus. Some travel between campuses will be required to support the following locations:

  • Cecil campus in Maryland
  • Newark, Middletown, and Wilmington campuses in Delaware

Work Schedule:

  • This is a full-time, Monday - Friday position (day shift)

  • Responsibilities include workflow, performance, and the overall operations for Emergency Services Service Line.  
  • Provide high level administrative support and champion continuous optimization and performance improvement as it relates to daily emergency services operations. 
  • Support payroll and scheduling processes (ShiftAdmin/Kronos/Qgenda), the electronic medical record (Cerner/FirstNet), internal communication tools (Vocera), onboarding, and financial operations (Ventra/Workday). 
  • Work closely with clinical and operational leadership regarding strategic planning, program development and financial/budget/incentive reporting and monitoring.
  • Serve as the first accountable leader when expectations are not being met, providing assistance and structure that creates an optimal environment for caregivers to support the clinical enterprise in an effective manner.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Two years of emergency department experience required; supervisory experience preferred
  • 5 years practice management experience accepted in lieu of degree.
