Christiana Care is looking for a full-time Executive Assistant to provide administrative support for the Campus Operations Officer

Principal duties and responsibilities:

  • Competently performs administrative functions which contribute to the efficient operation of Campus Operations.
  • Demonstrates organizational skills by accomplishing assigned workload independently in a timely manner.
  • Schedules and manages Campus Operations Officer's calendar using e-mail calendar system and provides all pertinent information needed for scheduled appointments. Anticipates needs and aids to ensure Campus Operations Officer is prepared for daily activities.
  • Ability to learn and apply new technology.
  • Screens correspondence/mail, sorts and prioritizes, bringing items for immediate action to VP's attention
  • Coordinates administrative office activities, efficiently and competently, making decisions within scope of position and exercising judgment in all job-related duties.
  • Makes travel reservations, orders tickets, makes and confirms lodging and airline reservations, and prepares travel advance and expense reports.
  • Attends meetings and takes and types minutes, composes agenda, drafts and types correspondence, schedules meetings, maintains up to date filing systems, screens incoming calls and takes accurate telephone messages.

Hours: Monday Through Friday - Day shift

Education and experience requirements:

  • Completion of a business college program in Secretarial Science, Office Administration, Business, or a related field preferred
  • At least 5 years of secretarial experience
  • At least 1 year of Executive level secretarial experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills with experience in Outlook (scheduling and e-mail), Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and technical office skills
