ChristianaCare is searching for a Financial Analyst to join the finance team. This position will be primarily responsible for financial analyses, planning, forecasting, and decision support related functions within the Financial Planning & Operational Analysis Department and have a specific function supporting the Finance Department in the status and performance of organizational business plans.

It is desired for candidates to not only have strong analysis experience, but to also possess a business planning background as well as a Six- Sigma Belt Certification. Some responsibilities include:

• Supports the development of business plans for new program initiatives
• Receives approved business plans and creates control charts, reports, presentations, etc. for continual performance updates.
• Performs profitability analysis.
• Creates forecasting and scenario analysis for related business planning to support the quarterly review, annual budget, and five-year projection processes.
• Provides presentations to various steer and executive committees on business plan performance status.
• Assists in departmental opportunity analysis to support organizational initiatives and priorities.

Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting or Finance although an MBA with Healthcare Concentration or MHA is highly valued. Three to five years' experience in healthcare budgeting, cost and reimbursement, and/or consulting attained in a hospital or intermediary setting is also required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
