The role of the HR Compliance Advisor, Remote Caregiver Experience is to lead and deliver HR compliance changes while evolving thinking and operations to suit the modern-day reality of a multi-state workplace.

They will have the ability to thrive in a high volume, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment. The HR Compliance Advisor will drive significant change and make an immediate impact through their expertise in municipal, state and federal employment law, HR compliance auditing and remediation.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree or Juris Doctorate preferred. Five years of combined human resource, HR compliance, project/program management, and information systems analysis experience required.  Experience with multi-disciplinary, complex projects and/or programs. preferred.

Our offices and work force are located in the North East region, but remote work opportunities are available.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the identification and delivery of HR compliance, continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the policy/process framework and increase knowledge within the organization to shape the remote and hybrid workforce solutions and experience. 
  • Expand capability within the HR function and identify any potential non-compliant issues to management, determine the root cause, and apply experience to find resolution.
  • Leads project teams in developing short-term and long-term goals, and measures of success. 
  • Establish methodology/repository of remaining current on municipal, state, and federal HR regulatory requirements across all states work is performed.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, conduct research and partner closely with all HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs), internal compliance, government affairs, internal/external counsel, legal and vendors or consultants as needed to identify and rectify any HR compliance and operational risks.
  • Lead and deliver HR compliance changes for the business in line with current and future legislation to maintain compliance within employment regulations and in response to internal and external audits.
  • Stay abreast of potential changes in employment laws and proactively assess impact to organization and identify key remediation steps to bring into compliance.
