ChristianaCare is searching for innovative & collaborative full-time or part-time Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Med-Peds Physicians to join ChristianaCare Hospitalist Partners (CCHP) in a hybrid hospitalist role. The hybrid hospitalist will cover seven shifts (split between on-site and virtual) for ChristianaCare's Wilmington Hospital Long Term Acute Care Hospital Unit and nine shifts as a standard hospitalist with CCHP per four-week block (16 shifts total per four-week block.)

Details:

  • 3 Remote LTACH shifts, 4 On-Site LTACH shifts (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM), 9 Standard Hospitalist shifts
  • Of the 16 shifts, you would need to do 1 Weekend in LTACH and 1 Weekend with CCHP
  • 2 Back Up Shifts required per Block

About the Team

This physician will be a part of the Christiana Care Hospitalist Partners; an employed team of 120 Hospitalists. Christiana Care Hospitalist Partners is a forward-thinking Hospitalist practice emphasizing continuity of care, patient satisfaction, and quality. Our Hospitalists provide the highest quality of patient care in directing, treating, and coordinating all aspects of the patient's hospitalization. The Hospitalist also may follow the patient for their first appointment after being discharged to enhance continuity of care. To support the program's goals, the schedule is progressive and our hospitalists have a manageable patient load.  Hospitalists are active within the health system participating in committees, research, teaching and leadership opportunities that support the improvement of patient care and Hospital Medicine.
