Christiana Care's IT department is looking for an Application Analyst responsible for vulnerability and risk management with a focus on Laboratory and Imaging assets.  In this role you will work as part of the Information Technology team to assess vulnerabilities and remediate identified critical vulnerabilities impacting applications and/or infrastructure components.  This work is done in collaboration with the business teams to ensure prompt and effective mitigation of risks to the organization, while minimizing impact to the business areas.

Duties:

• Remediate vulnerabilities identified by the Information Security Team in a timely manner, while minimizing the impact to the business areas.
• Assist in developing risk mitigation strategies when remediation is not optimal.
• Seeks input from other Christiana Care technical resources and/or vendors to resolve vulnerability and security issues when appropriate.
• Develops expertise in the applications used in the supported departments. Becomes knowledgeable regarding the departmental work processes and the overall IT environment. 
• Supports desktop, hardware, and network upgrades performed by other IT groups by providing information about the applications and IT environment in the supported departments.
• Gather security risk assessment information from vendors prior to introducing new Laboratory instruments or Imaging modalities to the Christiana Care network
• Review audits, monitor vulnerability mitigation and patching in vendor managed assets
• Interpretation and understanding of Nessus vulnerability scan reports
• Knowledge of Microsoft patching process and proficiency with Microsoft patching tools
• Implement or coordinate remediation efforts required by audits
• Assists security team on responses to information security incidents, internal and external audits, and departmental and corporate exercises and drills. 
• Understand that risk mitigation/remediation efforts frequently require off hours efforts to ensure minimal disruption to the business.
• Participate in an after-hours on call rotation

Requirements:

• Knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent relevant experience
• A minimum of one to three years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience in a hospital, Laboratory or Imaging environment is desirable.
• Experience with Windows 10, Windows 2012, 2016 and 2019 server OS, SQL 2012 and 2016, Citrix XenApps, Active Directory and anti-virus
