- Process, sort, and deliver laboratory specimens and request slips
- Print and properly affix identification labels to all incoming patient specimens
- Prioritize incoming work, ensuring samples for stat testing are delivered to the appropriate laboratory section in order to maintain stated turnaround times
- Communicate specimen priority to testing personnel upon delivery
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years applicable clinical experience working in a lab environment with specimens or equivalent college courses in the health care field
