ChristianaCare is seeking a Manager, Portfolio Management of the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) to lead the implementation and management of portfolio process, best practices, solutions, and tooling including, intake, prioritization, sequencing, portfolio health, and benefits realization. The Manager will lead a team of Analysts (e.g. Portfolio, Resource, and Reporting) to administer, manage, monitor, and report on the enterprise portfolio.
Attract, develop, and retain a team of portfolio resources as they deliver on portfolio governance, relationship management, reporting, and analytics.
Create a cohesive, high-performing team ts who partner with leaders in initiative conception through successful implementation.
Develop and maintain effective lines of communication and relationships with initiative champions and leadership to ensure EPMO is delivering effective and efficient projects and services in its strategic portfolio.
Actively reviews portfolios, programs, and projects for data quality and provides real-time feedback to improve metrics in alignment with desired objectives and outcomes.
Conducts portfolio wide analysis on project and program pipeline and delivery risk, including sequencing, dependencies, capacity, forecasting, and the execution of quality and timely delivery.
Working with stakeholders, identifies and contributes to the Performance Measurements function by helping to develop and establish key performance metrics and dashboards for measuring the quality, effectiveness, and progress of services and solutions.
Effectively resource manages team capacity against a strategically aligned portfolio.
Supports portfolio related technology through license maintenance, administration, system testing and minor development as appropriate.
Benchmarks project management performance to identify improvements and achieve higher capability maturity in Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
Identifies process improvement opportunities and establishes standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation in support of the team.
Provides and presents organizational communication and education on policies and procedures related to the areas of responsibility. Ensures communications are consistent and coordinated.
Performs ad-hoc assignments, including leading and supporting special projects. Support the Corporate Director EPMO on execution of vision and facilitation of growth of portfolio management maturity within the company.
Manage portion of EPMO budget and team including managing recruitment, retention, staffing plans, performance accountability, and annual performance management reviews, and relationships with outside vendors.
Desired candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, project management or related field required (Master's preferred) as well as 12 or more years of portfolio management experience accompanied with 7 or more years of leadership and people management experience (preferred) with a precision focus on solving complex business problems for customers both external and internal
