Christiana Care is looking for a Medical Assistant to join the Pediatric Associates team at our MAP II location!
Our Medical Assistants are an integral part of the team and responsibilities include, but are not limited to rooming patients; administering vaccines; throat and urine cultures, mono testing and more. This practice is a fast-paced environment where there is a 1:1 MA/provider ratio.
The practice is open 7 days a week with the following office hours: (Must be available to work weekend hours on a rotating basis)
- Monday - Friday - 7:30am - 5:00 pm
- Saturday/Sunday - 8:00 am - 12 noon

Education and experience requirements:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- A graduate of a recognized Medical Office Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
- 2 years' experience as a Medical Assistant, is preferred

- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
