ChristianaCare Vascular Specialists are looking for a Medical Assistant to join the team.
ChristianaCare Vascular Specialists team is located at the Newark campus in the Center for Heart & Vascular Health building. As vascular specialists, you would join the team of specially trained physicians that are dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of disorders of all the veins and arteries, other than those of the heart and brain.
Our teams consist of three Physicians, one Advanced Practice Clinician, two Surgical Schedulers, four Medical Assistants, and three Office Assistants.
Our Medical Assistants are a vital part of the team and responsibilities include, but are not limited to rooming patients, taking vitals, chart prepping, assisting with patients with wounds, Sclerotherapy and Varithena procedures, and assisting patients with arterial disease.
ChristianaCare Vascular Specialists team see an average of 40+ patients a day.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm

Education Requirements:
- High School Graduate or GED required.
- A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
