Experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
 

Are you interested in providing weekend coverage?
 

We are seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants who are interested in working weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).

We offer two choices for this role:

Every Weekend (Eight shifts in a four-week block):
Every weekend would be considered a .625 FTE. This position is salaried and would enjoy a Hire-on bonus, Daily Volume Bonuses, Quarterly Bonuses and would include ChristianaCare benefits, including matching 403(b), CME, PTO.

Every Other Weekend (Four shifts in a four-week block):
If you prefer every other weekend (or four shifts a month), you will be considered a per diem provider and will be paid an hourly per diem rate. 

Openings currently are out of our two Maryland locations (North East and Elkton) and our Central Delaware Region, which includes our Glasgow, STAR and Bear locations.
Twelve hour shifts - Locations are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

ChristianaCare-GoHealth Urgent Care currently has 12 locations: 10 in Delaware and 2 in Maryland.

• Partnering with ChristianaCare allows us to offer continuity for patient care through access to extensive resources and specialists, including shared advanced EMR (eClinicalWorks) that is fully integrated with ChristianaCare.
• Work in our beautiful award-winning state-of-the-art centers that are provider/patient-friendly and equipped with imaging, labs and on-site staff of Rad Techs, highly trained Medical Assistants and Scribes. We have the ability to flex up and down for patient volumes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least one year recent full time experience in urgent care or emergency medicine
• Board certified PA or NP and able to be licensed in the state of DE and/or MD
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs, X-rays and seeing all ages.
