ChristianaCare Cardiology Consultants is currently recruiting for a highly motivated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in our Woodstown, New Jersey office. This is a full-time position, dayshift Monday through Friday, with night call responsibilities based on practice needs. Responsibilities include managing the care of the cardiac patient collaboratively with the cardiologist(s) in the practice and monitoring stress testing. The ideal candidate for this position is comfortable working in a busy office with a high level of autonomy and has excellent customer service skills. Candidate must have 1 year of ambulatory care experience, preferably in cardiology. Individualized onboarding and orientation will be provided based on the needs of the applicant.

The office is located at 125 East Ave D, Woodstown, NJ 08098.


  • Manage care of the ambulatory cardiac patient collaboratively with other caregivers within established protocols, guidelines, and scope of practice
  • Utilizes teaching/learning principles coupled with expert clinical knowledge to promote and provide education to patients and their families
  • Act as liaison for patients, families, and health professionals
  • Monitors non-pharmacologic stress testing
  • Shares night call with the cardiologist(s) in the practice (low volume)


  • Nurse Practitioner requires a Masters' degree, preferably with degree specialization as Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP
  • Physician Assistant must be a graduate of an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience; cardiology experience preferred
  • License or license eligible for the State of New Jersey
  • Prescriptive authority and controlled substance license for state of New Jersey
  • Federal DEA License
  • BLS and ACLS certification
