ChristianaCare Primary Care at Jennersville is looking for an Office Assistant.

Primary Care at Jennersville is located at 900 West Baltimore Pike in West Grove, Pennsylvania. The Jennersville practice joined ChristianaCare in March 2022, to help the residents in the southeastern communities have access to ChristianaCare's award-winning network.  

You will be joining a team of three physicians, two advanced practice clinicians, two registered nurses, six medical assistants and three office assistants. The practice sees an average of 75 patients, per day.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 7am to 5pm
  • Fridays from 7am to 4pm

Job duties & responsibilities:

  • Schedules appointments.
  • Answers multi line telephones and retrieves accurate messages.
  • Manages front desktop.
  • Collects payments according to insurance requirements.
  • Applies ICD9 & CPT4 codes to encounter forms for billing purposes.
  • Performs outreach calls for the team.
  • Interacts between physicians, staff, and patients to provide accurate communication and customer service.
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and foster professional relationships in a team environment.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • Medical receptionist or medical assistant degree preferred but not required.
  • Experience in a medical office setting or customer service environment is preferred but not required.
