ChristianaCare, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare, is actively recruiting a BE/BC Neurologist to join Delaware's largest employed outpatient Neurology practice based in Newark, Delaware.

The Neuroscience Service Line at ChristianaCare includes a robust inpatient neuro-hospitalist service, a comprehensive stroke center, a neuro critical care unit, a neuro-interventional surgical service, as well as a large multi-subspecialty ambulatory practice. The ambulatory practice includes 11 Board Certified Neurologists, 2 Pediatric Neurologists, 6 advanced practice providers, 6 clinical nurses, a full-time social worker, an embedded specialty pharmacy concierge and pharmacist, and an embedded psychologist.

  • Our practice has subspecialists in every facet of Neurology and encourages robust collaboration between our providers
  • Opportunity to scale up to 100% Neuromuscular medicine or maintain a blend of Neuromuscular and General Neurology.
  • Blocked time to perform EMGs.
  • Ability to perform Botox, blocks and other injections, if desired.
  • 1:5 weekend call with no stroke call
  • Opportunity to be involved in medical student and resident education.

Position Qualifications

  • BE/BC in Neurology
  • Fellowship training in EEG- Clinical Neurophysiology, EMG- Clinical Neurophysiology Neuromuscular Medicine or Headache Medicine optional
  • Must have the ability to be licensed in the State of Delaware and meet credentialing requirements
