ChristianaCare is looking to hire a Practice Supervisor for Middletown East Women's Health in Middletown, DE!

The Practice Supervisor will oversee this busy practice and partner with the Practice Manager and Clinical Leader to efficiently maintain daily operations of the office with the goal of delivering quality care to patients during virtual and onsite visits. As a practice supervisor, you would have 5 direct reports.

  • Monday- Friday 8AM-5pm
  • No Holidays

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directly manage office staff.
  • Partner with both clinical and administrative leaders on process improvements
  • Implementing new strategic workflow strategies  
  • Coordinate daily services and program delivery of the practice site location establishing protocols and standards for efficient and effective office operations
  • Lead and supervise daily functioning of practice location and staff, including staff performance to expectations and counseling as appropriate
  • Coordinate office staff schedule, tracking staff time and attendance
  • Provides staff with ongoing training and development as required
  • Supervise daily practice and individual clinician scheduling, billing, and productivity ensuring daily prior authorization and referral management
  • Provides guidance to staff regarding insurance requirements and changes
  • Lead site improvement initiatives as directed by practice manager
  • Monitors practice budget and expenses including CME accounts in collaboration with the Practice Manager
  • Conduct patient safety and regulatory readiness audits per guidelines established by the Practice Manager; Safety first learning reporting per guidelines.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma required.  Associates Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years office practice experience required
  • Supervisory or lead experience required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Skill in collaborating with clinicians and other staff and lead projects and work processes
  • Ability to communicate with a customer service focus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and a large volume of patients
  • Knowledge of JCAHO, OSHA and State of Delaware regulations
