Project Recovery (PR) Program at ChristianaCare is looking for a Program Coordinator to join their team to assist PR Clinical Program Manager with both clinical and administrative responsibilities for all PR locations.  S/he will deliver direct services to individuals with substance use disorders or co-occurring conditions as needed.   

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   

  • Provides thorough and appropriate clinical supervision to PR therapist providing direct care to our patients to include complete document review, co-sign documents as needed, provide assessment and feedback of therapist performance and develop and implement an individual staff development plan as needed.
  • Assist manager to ensure program is in compliance with state licensure board and other applicable standards of care.  Assist manager in developing and tracking any corrective action plans to address any deficiencies that may occur.
  • Monitors the program for compliance with utilization, billing and other contractual targets and ensures that these are met.
  • Oversees and tracks new patient paperwork to ensure all paperwork is obtained and scanned into patient electronic health record in a timely manner.
  • Assists with tracking expenses and revenue to ensure PR cost centers are within budget and inform PR Program Manager of any budget variances. 
  • Works directly with patient billing services to investigate and resolve patient billing issues.
  • Generates and/or monitors reports including utilization reports, soarian reports, patient reports, soarian reports, etc..
  • Monitors the program to ensure utilization, billing and other goals and benchmarks are met. Makes recommendations for improvements when goals/benchmarks are not being met.
  • Conducts gap analysis to identify unmet SUD needs in the community.  
  • Assist manager in responding to patient feedback/correspondence received via NCR, R2L, patient billing, etc.
  • Assist manager with updating policies and procedures and educating caregivers on policies. Notifies manager of any policy and procedure compliance concerns.
  • Tracks and maintains documentation for all grants and contracts.
  • Tracks and maintains documentation for all staff licensure.
  • Research, resolves, tracks and maintains documentation for all encounters without charges and unpaid charges.
  • Provides direct patient care as needed during staff vacancies, vacation, etc. Maintains current case load not to exceed 10
  • Conducts and attends regular staff meetings and treatment plan review meetings as needed.
  • Works in close collaboration with PR team members, SUD  Community Treatment Providers, , PR Medical Director and other internal and external organizations and personnel to ensure that the program meets its clinical and administrative objectives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master's degree in social work or counseling from an accredited college or university.
  • Two years of clinical/administrative experience in providing services to adults with substance use disorders.
  • A clinical license is required (LCSW)
