 ChristianaCare has achieved Advanced Accreditation for Total Hip and Knee Replacement. This role plays an integral part in ensuring regulatory compliance and care standards are met as we continue to grow the joint replacement program.

We are seeking a candidate with high emotional intelligence with experience in performance improvement and joint replacement programs that can work a full-time day shift (40 hours weekly). Case management experience is also preferred.

Responsibilities:

Design, lead, and implement all clinical and business improvement initiatives for the total joint replacement program

Works directly with an interdisciplinary team, including the joint replacement center of excellence medical director, Center for Surgical Optimization, inpatient nursing units, perioperative services, and other key partners

Develops project plans to include Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, Organization and Communications, Staffing, Risk and Issue Management, Test, Configuration, and Organizational Change

Works collaboratively and serves as a liaison between Christiana Care, patients, clinicians, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements:

  • Five years minimum experience in healthcare delivery

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Public health or related ted field required

  • Master's degree preferred

  • Prior experience in joint replacement programs preferred

  • Experience in case management preferred

  • Must exhibit outstanding customer service and communication skills
