Our Real Estate & Property Management located in Newark, DE is looking for a full time Property Management Coordinator to manage assigned properties such as medical office complexes and physician-based condominiums owned, leased or Managed by the Christiana Care Health System. The Property Management Coordinator is involved in all aspects of day-to-day operations of the property, including, tenant / Condo Owner relations, maintenance and repair, security, janitorial services, etc. The Property Management Coordinator assists in the preparation of the annual budget, reporting and financial performance of the property.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent and strong tenant / Condo Unit Owner relationships
  • Serve as the point of contact for tenants, Condo Unit Owners and Condo Associations. Address housekeeping, maintenance, and parking issues
  • Respond to tenant, Condo Unit Owners and Condo Associations requests/problems in a timely and courteous manner, follow-up with tenants, Condo Unit Owners and Condo Associations to ensure satisfactory resolution of any issues
  • Serves as point of contact for CCHS owned suites in assigned buildings at various locations
  • Conduct periodic janitorial inspections of property and tenant spaces to ensure compliance with contracts and the proper upkeep of the property.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual operating budgets for designated facilities
  • Negotiates and contract for housekeeping services and supervise work as the need arises
  • Monitor build-out to assure compliance with lease agreements, construction schedules, tenant expectations, lender requirements, and construction guidelines for the project.
  • Obtain estimates / bids for repairs to designated facilities
  • Investigate cost reduction opportunities
  • Coordinate special tenant requests
  • Coordinates major signage changes within buildings
  • Coordinate the replacement of furniture in public areas
  • Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

Knowledge of commercial leasing

Knowledge of billing procedures

Knowledge of expense and income statement preparation

Knowledge of contract administration

Education and Experience Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 3 years experience in health care related field.
  • 3 years experience in property management or related field.
  • Valid Driver's License
