About This Position
The Purchasing Department of ChristianaCare's Supply Chain Division is searching for a Triage Recall Coordinator who will report to the Clinical Value Analysis Manager and is responsible for processing product recalls in accordance to ensure all system-wide product and equipment recalls and alerts are identified, processed and appropriately communicated to affected facilities and departments to comply with patient safety and regulatory requirements.
Skills that are paramount to the success of this role are:
Principal duties and responsibilities.....
Daily review of recalls and alerts through various methods including the contracted software solution, manufacturer notifications and department communications.
Interface with FDA and other regulatory bodies.
Lead recall strategies, including effectiveness checks and recall letter and reports.
Communication of alerts and recalls to all responsible parties.
Coordination of removal and segregation of product if warranted.
Ensure mandatory corrections, removals and recalls are managed effectively and efficiently.
Escalation of recalls and alerts for substitution of product if warranted, including field action activities.
Monitor and track ongoing investigations related to recalls/field actions to root cause and any subsequent project deployed to remediate.
Provides a support role to the Value Analysis Manager as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
