5N is medical inpatient unit located on the 5th floor at Wilmington Hospital. We are currently seeking an experienced RN to work 36 hours per week, Night Shift (7p-7a). Holidays and Weekends - are per the guidelines of the department.

In this role, we work closely to deliver care that supports adult patients facing an acute illness. The patient population, for this unit are adults, typically ages 18 and above. Our focus is maintaining function, providing education, and maintaining safety! As a member of the 5N team you will engage in a true relationship based care model, building relationships with patients and families as well as with your peers, guided by our values of love and excellence.

Our Nurses will assist in managing a team of 5 medical patients per shift and work with the interdisciplinary team that includes a unit based Nurse Practitioner, both an attending and consulted physicians, pharmacy, physical therapy, and other assistive personnel.

Requirements:

BSN preferred

Commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire can be considered with relevant experience.

At least one year med/surg experience as a RN.

BLS required
