Christiana Hospital is currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Stroke Treatment and Recovery (STAR) Unit in Newark, DE.

The Stroke Treatment & Recovery Unit (STAR):

• 29 Bed Unit
• Nurse to patient ratio is one nurse to 3-5 patients.
• The Unit will take Stroke and Medical patients.

Education & Requirements

• Delaware RN License or RN License from a compact state.
• BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of the date of hire.
• BLS Certification is required.
• ACLS Certification preferred (required within 6 months of hire)
• One year of experience as an RN is required.
• RN experience in Med Surg and Acute Care preferred.

The successful candidate may be eligible for a 10K sign-on bonus to be paid over a period of 12 months.
