Are you an experienced Compensation Analyst looking to be a part of a dynamic and supportive team?

ChristianaCare is searching for an experienced Senior Compensation Analyst to join the Compensation Team. This position will provide a full range of compensation consulting, analysis and program administration services to include research, collection and analyzation of internal and external data for compensation decision making.

You will be the subject matter authority regarding compensation issues and will implement and administer the annual compensation review process.  This position requires knowledge of personnel administration principles and technology as well as job analysis methods and procedures.  Some responsibilities include:

  • Serves as a consultant/subject matter expert to assigned internal client groups on compensation issues and ensures that compensation decisions are in alignment with the organization's compensation and total rewards philosophy and the business strategy.
  • Coordinates the annual compensation process (assists in creating communication materials, prepares data for the compensation system, analyzes salary and bonus recommendations, etc.)
  • Participates in third-party compensation surveys to acquire current data for job evaluations to ensure the organization's competitiveness in the market place; compiles, analyzes and evaluates survey data to recommend range adjustments and individual job compensation ranges; matches survey jobs and prepares data for submission to survey consulting firms
  • Evaluates existing positions and newly built positions to determine placement in the appropriate salary grade based on competitive market data and organizational structure; conducts exemption testing for compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)

Desired candidates will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field and have five years' experience as a compensation analyst.  Experience in another human resources subject area is preferred as well as progress toward CCP or Master's degree.
