ChristianaCare is currently seeking a full-time Senior Office Assistant for Primary Care Health Center at the Wilmington Hospital.
The Senior Office Assistant will assist with the training of Office Assistant staff, maintaining the schedules of Office Assistant staff and provides guidance to Office Assistants with workflow questions and update workflows.
Work Schedule:
Mondays - Fridays, 7:45am - 4:15pm with scheduled rotation to provide Tuesday evening (until 8:30PM) and Saturday morning (8:00AM-12:00PM) coverage.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities:
Assists with the training of Office Assistant Staff
Subject Matter Expert on Office Assistant operations/procedures/processes
Point of contact for Office Assistant regarding questions, concerns and guidance with Office Assistant operations, procedures, and processes
Responsible for inventory management
Schedules appointments with awareness of insurance, provider, and location for virtual and on-site appointments
Collects payments according to insurance requirements.
Performs day end reconciliation of appointments & payments received.
Education And Experience Requirements
High School Graduate or Equivalent
2 years' experience in a medical office practice setting is required; 3 years' experience is preferred.
