About This Position

ChristianaCare is looking for a Senior Organization and Leadership Development Consultant to facilitate large scale organizational and department/service-level change through organizational development (OD) consulting services and leadership development programming. The Consultant supports priority organizational change initiatives, partners with senior and middle managers to improve CCHS employee engagement, and provides leadership development programming and coaching to strengthen our capacity to achieve our CCHS strategic aims.

We are also looking for candidates who are skilled in using stakeholder needs analysis to inform creative learning solutions. Experience in measuring the effectiveness and value created by organizational development activities required.  Knowledge of continuous performance improvement philosophy, tools and techniques desired

Please Note: This position is a predominately in-office position so candidates need to be within commuting distance.

Some responsibilities include:

Partner with senior leaders to design, facilitate and lead organization development efforts that help us achieve our strategic aims. Organization development efforts may focus on the organization, facility or department level.

Develop and maintain strong consulting and partnering relationships with internal customers, and maintain productive working relationships with leaders, subject matter experts and outside vendors.

Provide leadership coaching to support execution of organizational development improvement efforts.

Collaborate with senior leaders to identify gaps in organizational leadership capabilities and to design and deliver leadership development solutions that help the organization achieve its strategic aims.

Desired candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field (Masters preferred) as well as 10 years' experience in organizational and leadership development, demonstrating progressive increase in responsibility and engagement with executive leadership. Other requirements include:

  • Experience working with senior leaders to design and execute targeted interventions in support of organizational change efforts, including but not limited to leadership development interventions.
  • Experience presenting and facilitating large and small group events with senior-level participants.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
