PRIMARY FUNCTION:

ChristianaCare is seeking an experienced Senior System Analyst to join our exceptional team of designers, developers and user experience experts!  In collaboration with the Learning Technologies Team, as Senior Analyst, you will implement our Learning Management System and other learning technology operations to enable the delivery and maintenance of system-wide learning and development activities.  Here you will initiate and execute projects within the Learning Technologies Team while providing consultative services throughout ChristianaCare.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

System Administration:

  • Responsible for integrations such as creating datafiles for imports, scheduling batch imports, and validating daily integrations

  • Configuration of the HR Information System connector

  • Provide support and assistance with system configurations.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define assignment requirements

  • Responsible for preparing the data files for auditing including assignments, audiences, certifications, checklists, classes, content, courses, integrations, reports, and user profiles.

  • Create and update functionality that supports users, user groups, and audiences in the Learning Management System.

  • Oversee other learning technology applications that support learning activities.

  • Manage & coordinate various processes and documentation related to the Learning Management System

  • Support the implementation of new functionalities within the Learning Management System to address future system needs.

  • Provide recommendations to caregivers who produce learning experiences based on optimized use of the Learning Management System and resources.

  • Participates in professional activities to keep up to date on changes in education techniques, tools and new technologies

Learning Administration:

  • Create, update, discontinue, troubleshoot, and import certifications and curriculums.

  • Import content and videos into the Learning Management System; test content; publish content with compliant/compatible tools.

  • Detect and troubleshoot content problems with Learning Management System tools in a timely manner

User Management:

  • Responsible for the granting and removal of system privileges and access to end-users

  • Provide advanced training for superusers.

  • Develop job aids and documentation for all levels of users.

Analytics/Reporting:

  • Generate systemwide compliance reports

  • Update existing reports

Learning Technology Department Management:

  • Support vendor relations

  • Execute new projects through project initiation, architecture, requirements analysis, design, project management and systems integration phases

  • Support the development of Learning Technology Strategy and Road Map

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Educational Technology, Information Technology, Information Systems, Education, Curriculum Development.

  • Minimum 5 years of equivalent experience in the field of business administration, informational technology, education, training & development, or healthcare.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience with Learning Management Systems

  • Helpdesk or end-user technical support preferred

  • Proficiency in eLearning, mobile learning, and educational software

  • A combination of education and experience may be substituted

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and public relations.

  • Ability to function as an active team member.

  • Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills, tact and diplomacy required.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to handle complex multi-task projects independently.

  • Demonstrates expertise in required computer skills relevant to diverse project demands.

  • Strong attention to detail including ability to edit documents and enter data with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Ability to develop training aids and instructional materials

  • Ability to adjust quickly and constructively to changing demands and circumstances.

  • Ability to communicate with a variety of users and stakeholders at different levels utilizing different methods (written, verbal, visual)

  • Analyze caregiver needs and provide recommendations based on optimizing resources to meet requirements.

  • Ability to organize and manage time effectively as demonstrated by the ability to manage multiple projects

  • Working knowledge of SCORM and/or AICC preferred
