Our Oncology & Hematology practice located at the Helen F Graham Center in Newark is currently looking for a full-time Registered Nurse. In this role you will be providing nursing care and assume responsibility for telephone triage in an outpatient setting.

  • Assess patient needs (via phone, portal, clinic, infusion suite, or walk in) and help determine plan of care with support of physicians and clinicians.
  • Prioritize problems based on the patient's stated reason for call or visit, presenting signs/symptoms, patient risk factors and potential outcomes.
  • Document all patient interactions/communications, maintaining updated medical records for visibility by clinical and administrative teams.
  • Assist providers by conducting chemotherapy teaching and nurse visits.

Work Hours : Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)

Requirements:  BSN required or commitment to obtaining within three years from your date of hire.  RN license or eligible for licensure in the state of Delaware.  Two years of experience as a RN required.  Experience working as a RN in Oncology and/or Hematology preferred.
